Pear and Goat’s Cheese Salad
Ingredients
- knob of butter
- 1 pear, peeled, cored and cut into 8 wedges
- 150g vegetarian goat's cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 head chicory
- 50g walnut halves
- 4 tbsp English Provender Classic French Dressing
Method
- 1
Heat a frying pan and add a knob of butter, add the pears and cook over a gentle heat until they begin to brown and soften. Remove and put to the side. Wipe the pan with kitchen paper.

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the goat’s cheese for a minute on both sides.

Separate the chicory leaves and divide between four plates. Top with the pears, cheese and a sprinkling of walnuts.

Drizzle with the French dressing and serve immediately.
