Best cookery book for veggies?
I've decided I'm going to buy myself a new cook book at the end of the month as an incentive to stay on my diet until then. Needs to be completely veggie! Anybody got any good suggestions?

Either Leith's Vegetable Bible or Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's Everyday Veg. My two favourite cokbooks of all time

How about Rose Elliot's New Complete Vegetarian?

Sam Stern's vegetarian book is excellent as is Delia Smith's.

I got Rose Elliots New complete Vegetarian last year and I'm somewhat disappointed to be honest. Many dishes haven't turned out quite the way she's described, and the instructions for the recipes are hit and miss for description and steps in the process. Use caution with this one.

I'd second Hugh's 'Everyday Veg' book suggested above, I loved it the moment I got it for Xmas last year.
Lots of simple, hearty, rustic dishes where vegetables are the focus.

Hi there! I'm new, pleased to meet you all!
My favourite specifically veggie cookbooks at the moment are:
1. Veggistan
2. Anjum's Indian Vegetarian Feast
3. The Meat-Free Monday Cookbook
4. Appetite for Reduction (this one's vegan)
I love Appetite for Reduction so much that I've now got my eye on Veganomicon and Vegan Eats World.
Those are my faves at the moment - all with interesting, varied recipes, not the same-old same-old you normally get in veggie cook books.
Love,
Emy
