I had the same experience as you.
What helped me get past that point and lose more weight is cycling carbs and exercising (not a lot - but the right exercise)

Sorry if this is an old thread to bring up. I stand by the beans, especially Chickpeas! I used to have fat gut, hardly not now Foods that contain load of Fibre are a big help too.
